New Delhi: Indian Naval Placement Agency (INPA) and e-commerce company Flipkart today signed a MoU through which both the entities will explore opportunities for the Navy to recruit veterans in the Flipkart Group.
A Defense Ministry statement said that through the agreement, INPA will identify a pool of ex-servicemen candidates for relevant roles as per the recruitment standards of Flipkart.
The company, in turn, will enable these individuals to move into the corporate sector through in-house assimilation and training programmes.
Flipkart is carrying out this program under the aegis of 'FlipMarch' under its 'Diversity and Inclusion Charter', which aims to encourage ex-servicemen on the basis of their qualifications, experience and attributes acquired during their service period, the statement said.
